Aren't the usual HPMs, editions of 3, around the same price (if you can score one from source!?).
I guess this has no standard edition of 450 though.... at least, not yet !!

each piece was hand collaged by Shepard, hand painted over by RISK and then screened on top by Shepard. Seems to me that more was done on Shepard's part than RISK's, don't know why you think it was the other way around.

All I see are a few patches of pattern and the top layer white screen done by Shep or one of his posse. I'm guessing the rainbow fade is Risk, the sprayed dot pattern, circles, lines and paint splats. So I'll stick by what I said until otherwise proven wrong by someone who can a. prove me wrong in pictures or b. knows what they're talking about and is not just quoting the sales bumf.

Surprisingly this was the first time we had the chance to collaborate and it was a true honor. RISK went down to Miami first and laid a beautiful spectrum and I came a few days later with my crew and painted in the cream details. The mural turned out so well that RISK and I decided to collaborate once again and turn the mural concept into a HPM (Hand Painted Multiple) Edition. RISK hand painted the background with his custom color fades and geometric shapes/patterns over my collage then we screen printed the imagery on top and varnished the whole thing. Each of the pieces has unique details. The Edition looks amazing! Oh, they are also signed by both of us. We are going to be releasing the 1st half of the edition on OBEY this coming Tuesday and the other half on Buckshot Prints at a later date, so stay tuned for info their release.

The images in the original document were enlargeable and I struggle to see the work. Maybe Risk has covered the majority of detail with spray, but it still looks more like a few sprayed patterns and lacks the pasted and level of detail of Shep's regular HPM's. Personally I'd want to see more detailed shots before shelling out over 2k, probably nearer 3k by the time postage and any tax or import duty is added.

I'd like to see him do more corporate knocking myself and I find it a little sad that the prints he produces with a personal message of his hang around for a while whilst his 'pretty picture' pictures or Obey 'corporation' logos sell out in a flash and those unable to score one then blame him.

Sounds to me like your knocking the guy a little. His drops can be painful in a very slow way for sure so better to speed up the pain.

I've always had an easy time buying his prints. I've bought about 30 of them over the years. I've only missed out on maybe two that I went for. More often that not, I end up accidentally buying two and get refunded on the second one. Yes, the PayPal system times out. But if you keep refreshing, you usually get through. |

I was only a hobbiest, but I still can see its a very old and no where near the type of sale/cart system they should have. Anyone with a little bit of know how could set that up for a couple of hundered pounds no problem.
In reply to a few of the other comments we in England seem to have more problems than you do over the other side of pond and visa versa, its not like tapping your mate on the shoulder when your thousands of miles away.
