Anyway, my question is how did people know the location of the installation so soon before it was posted on Banksy's site? How did they know it'd be there, and that that'd be Banksy's work?

For me it's a little "meh" because it's an old idea rehashed... and having it animate doesn't really add anything to the original painting.
Fun though, and I do like it !!

It seems a bit hokey, sterile and it is starting to get to the point of "Jumping The Shark".
The combination of hipsters, band wagon fans, profiteers, reporters and well orchestrated
stunts is wearing thin.

Moreover, does his income and job match his lifestyle? If people really think that is the guy (Bloomberg is a multi billionaire) they could just do the sleuth work and solve this.. I think there are bigger forces at work here. In this day and age, NOBODY can remain anonymous in perpetuity. Sad, but true.
Anyway, I think it would be great if many NYers dressed up in a banksy costume for halloween. Then there would be thousands of bank sys walking around and nobody would know which was real. You know, the hoodie and monkey mask with big eyes from exit the gift shop. .

I have felt pretty much engaged throughout but it's not easy and I have dipped a bit at times. I think we will look back though and realise it was a pretty amazing moment and innovative time
