And I love how he's making folks pay attention with multiple media outlets. This show is live on the streets, websites, phone, Instagram and thrust without shame down the throats of mainstream media(they can't help but take the bait.). He wants us to interact and participate. Banksy tosses a few pebbles and watches the ripple effect. The man is and always has operated with intention.

I do hope as he breaches 40 that he is carrying a family with him. More joy and purpose. And taking a few years to embrace that experience should be commended and supported by all societies. God knows we could use the focus and experience. I like that he's taken time to plan and observe the world so that his work evolves and remains a thought or two ahead of the mainstream.

I guess that's why I love Banksy as I do John Stewart. They are both wicked smart artists who speak the truth through their respective mediums while sharpening the message with humour and wit. You have to be able to digest the world before you can integrate humour and intention so eloquently.

I have a feeling the Banksy will produce work throughout his lifetime at his own pace now. Because he can and he has too. His heart won't let him stop. What medium will he continue with? Who the hell knows? Probably everything that is available. He knows how to stay relevant. It's in his blood.

I really appreciate the discussion and insight/perspectives. Nice for a change instead if the constant bickering. I for one will suspend judgement as long as possible. I want to take in the whole show before I close a thought.

I can tell you that I have thoroughly enjoyed being square in the playground of the show. Having lived hear for 15 years now, the truck commentary of our concrete jungle was spot on. And where I was initially bummed about him placing it on ST. Marks, I realize now that it was even more relevant to see it placed on an over commercialized street that once was a center around alternative energy. It's morphed into a tourist trap, a novelty. I've avoided walking down that street for 10 years. That neighborhood is my home but that street sucks IMHO.

I also love how he's continually diverting the attention to a new area while remaining connected to some awesome graffiti/street art neighborhoods. I can only imagine the surprises to come. And it's crazy to have so much attention on you but still able to operate and pull this off will be an incredible achievement.
