this was delivered well over a week ago and i am still in dispute for it, the money is for charity and no matter how many mails i send the buyer just ignores them..... why has ebay not closed the case when it clearly says its been signed for etc on delivery??

So is the dispute because they're saying they haven't received it? That would be a bit silly if like you say they've signed for it!

If you sent it within the UK, still have the special delivery number and they can see it was delivered online, and you sent it within 7 days of the purchase date to the confirmed shipping address they should decide in your favor within a day or two. Otherwise the claim will automatically be closed in your favor if they fail to respond after a lengthy period which I think is two weeks or so.
