Extended trades (Banksy, Micallef, Neate), by jam on Nov 25, 2007 8:07:17 GMT 1, I had thought about this idea in the past and it seems to make sense to me, so I am putting it out here as a thread and hopefully it can allow for prints to change hands in an extended way. I know I have some prints that I would trade for others, and that some people are looking to swop but may not be directly interested in what I have to offer... so why not sort out an extended trading plan. There are plenty of trusted guys on here that I would be comfortable in extended trades with so I think between referrals and good communication it can work well for everyone involved.

There will be a good deal of trust involved here, so solid communication will be the key to making this a success. Please have detailed condition information and photos along ready to send to interested parties and try to be over scrutinizing about the details to ensure all involved in the trade get what they expect to receive. Don't just describe something as you would want it described to you, give a condition report that would make a museum curator blush! If things are looking good and a trade is imminent, be sure to exchange name/email/address/phone numbers to be sure everyone involved is on the same page and no detail of the swop is lift out... this will insure everyone comes out happy!

Post what you have to trade along with what you are looking for on this thread and hopefully as the list grows there will be some visible overlap or prints for owners and we can sort out some three way trades! As your list changes, please modify your original post to reflect your up to date Have/Want list so people aren't seeing out of date information.
