An exhibition of new artworks by Mr Brainwash
The London Westbank Gallery is pleased to present โPop on Paperโ an exhibition of 40 works on paper by Mr Brainwash. Mixing revisited classics with new images, stencils and silkscreens, the show will be one of this years โnot to be missed eventsโ at Frieze Art Fair.
The preview will take place on Tuesday 15th October at 6pm. The show will then officially open from 16th October and will run until 23d October 2013.
MR BRAINWASH is the moniker of Los Angeles-based filmmaker and pop artist Thierry Guetta. He has spent more than a decade following and filming the most renowned street artists of this century. Inspired by his subjects, he started hitting the streets, from Los Angeles to different parts of the world, with spray paint, stencils and posters of his pop art inspired images. Considered one of the most prolific and talked about artists today, Mr. Brainwash achieved worldwide recognition with Banksyโs Oscar nominated film โExit Through the Gift Shopโ.
He is also well known for his collaborative work with other artists and creative minds such as Madonna,
The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sade, Dolce & Gabbana and many more.
