Selling Banksy advice please, by carbonfiend on Oct 14, 2013 18:45:36 GMT 1, Hi this is my first post & new to this forum. I have a number of Banksy prints (all but one unsigned) I have COAs & original purchase receipts for them from POW. Time has come for me to consider selling a couple and was wondering was would be the suggested best way.
I have seen the Ebay prices & TBH they look similar to rare records (i used to buy & sell records) in that ask an over inflated price in the hope somebody will desperate to buy but give the option of a reasonable & genuine offer.
Obviously this site is a place of sales & I have been given a number of galleries to consider.
My prints are;
Flying Copper
Toxic Mary
Pulp Fiction
Bar Code
Girl With Ballon
Napalm (signed)
As a footnote to those interested my copy of Napalm is signed though it was purchased as unsigned & is numbered as such. PC have confirmed & I have COA for it as a signed print.

To elaborate further i bought napalm as an unsigned print yet it arrived with a signiture on it hung on my wall for yrs when i eventually got my sh!t together & went down to PC they looked at it & confirmed it as genuine signiture - hence now it is a signed print.
prices ? no idea TB really honest as i see so much confusing info from ebay to galleries - hence my post

Didn't matter back then of course.
Rare as Hen's teeth these prints, there isn't as many of them still in existance as the edition number suggests imo, I'd love the Barcode but Mrs Lynn would never allow.....
