Help with storing Banksy prints, by amicie on Oct 20, 2013 11:48:36 GMT 1, Hi I have 2 banksy prints which need to be stored while I'm away. They are a grin reaper & a rat. They're both signed & have pest control so it's important to keep them immaculate. Is it best to keep them in frames and risk glass breakage or take them out & roll them up??

Help with storing Banksy prints, by anodyne13 on Oct 20, 2013 16:29:28 GMT 1, If they are already flat, buy a mylar sleeve that will fit the print and put the print inside it. Then buy a rigid portfolio box or even an architectural flat file. The flat files are a bit expensive, but not realtive to the prints especially if you have other ones

"Every day we get people" - I hope you keep a register of those every-day-mind-numbingly people for your records because I don't agree with the "every day"... may be once or twice a month
Keep them flat; so either in frame either in sleeve. If you are worried about the glass, just replace glass with perspex at your framer. Otherwise, just resell them here.

Help with storing Banksy prints, by amicie on Oct 24, 2013 16:02:09 GMT 1, Many thanks for those with the useful answers which I shall heed. I won't be selling them through Urban Art Association for the time being as one gets people like 'Sean' and I would be upset if loved pieces should ever fall into the wrong hands.

Think there's more important things in this world to get upset about than a couple of bits of paper with some ink on them and who owns them. I am however on the naughty step for my cheeky response.
