oh for sure, i'd like him to maybe pick out 2 or 3 to hold back and when the new stuff goes on show he could slip in a short run of old and new, it would be a shame to not put a few of those out there.
i just meant that i hope the general direction of his next collection of work is a step forward, he's done enough on current subjects for me. no rush mind, all good things.....
Z i sold mine already, put towards the SC, maybe one day i'll have the room to get him back but just now i don't.
you could post how much she wants incase someone else here was interested

(no i dont have one)

Now granted, at that show the highest priced piece was £25,000 i believe (the original judgement day, which was huge) and some of the charcoals were only £2,500, so it is entirely possible that one of the owners is not 'rich' and may sell to finance another purchase or a car or something, but i think that there are enough hardcore micallef fans out there to ensure that if one came on ebay tomorrow the bidding would be mental, as they wouls assume it was their only chace to buy. If 2 rich, determined bidders go head to head, amazing things can happen. It happens all the time.
Then you would see 3 or 4 more go on within a week and none would go for half as much!! that happens on ebay all the time doesnt it. A banksy which has not come up for a while goes up, sells for a top price, then all of a sudden 3 more go up and sell for a bargain.

If GIRD was from an edition of 250 or more would it be so revered? I think not
interesting point mike, it would still look the bizzle try flipping the question: what if GIWTBB was and edition of 25, would it be as revered as GITRD?
i really like both but it is a no-brainer, GITRD all day long. the edition size is a nice add-on, you're not likely to come across many others with one in their collection but it is hardly the be-all and end-all.
it's just a beautiful piece of art that doesn't try too hard to convey some kind of contempory message, that will lose all meaning within one generation. it's sometimes the simple things that work best, less is most definitely more for me.
