"Art Makes Me Happy" ...all on the way!, by kunstrasen on Oct 26, 2013 17:26:11 GMT 1, Hey all, hope no one minds me posting this here...had a give away around the image "Art Makes Me Happy" and had some positive comments so now thought it might be of interest to some people on here as well.
Already did let the people on Facebook know...going to do a pre-order release of mini-canvases of the image on the 1st of November around 8pm GMT. The canvases will be available for pre-order only for one week, the actual release of the remains will be early in December...

Thing is that I get regularly emails by people asking if anything is available when all is sold out. Last release were 50 pieces and that did not last one day in the shop...just think it would be nice to have something available people can stumble on.
Also I wanted to keep prices stable...using the way more pricey deep edge canvases this time compared to normal canvases last time. That's the other reason for the big edition size.

And full credit for keeping your prices low; you've built yourself up well over the past two years producing consistently developing work, but kept your prices down. I can think of a few who could learn from that...
I'd much rather have slightly larger edition sizes and more affordable prices.

For those commenting on the price...Maybe I could sell them for more but how I see it I do something I utterly enjoy and even get a bit of pocket money for it...and let me tell you that all gives me also more valuable things than money in return. Over all a very good thing in my opinion...
I'll take a break though after this and the London show to work on my skills...maybe prices will increase slightly after that if I manage to improve since I set myself to price improvements according to skill and work result improvements. I'll keep prices affordable though since I like it when people have only to think about the image when considering a purchase and not really about finances.
