Banksy Papparazzi Rat, by trax51 on Nov 3, 2013 10:09:16 GMT 1, ahahahaha. Now that's an hilarious one… Believe it or not, but two days ago I got home slightly drunk and had the splendid idea of checking eBay. Don't ask me why, as I don't clearly remember all the details… but I entered two bids for this piece... One for 1200£, and the other one, 30 seconds later or so for 2500£ ! (even if obviously no one else had outbid me in between)
So I woke up the day after and started to sweat when I read my bid confirmation emails… Then, thanks god, within hours somebody outbidded me. I think the seller was probably trying to do push prices up, as the bidding is coming from the same ebay id as the guy who "bought" it in the first auction…
I accidentally gave him hope that somebody will bid for his piece… But now I'm happy to be out of that
I hope it clarify a bit the situation BlackAppleArt ;-)
And me, I will avoid eBay when under the influence…….

That's a pretty funny story Trax! I've definitely been there with making bad purchases while pissed. FYI you can retract bids if necessary but good you were bailed out anyway. Would love to know the stats of how many fakes PC sees come their way annually. Have a feeling this year will break records.

I would have done it anyway if no one would have out bided me.
@wiz: genuine ? very good question… but without any proof of any kind, you have to take his words… so IMHO, not genuine
