"The aim of the project is to create a self-sustaining template for production that will feature different areas of radical political history and practice each year, and that will hopefully be taken on by a different group from a rotating network of activists.
We launched the Wasp last year with a general prison and protest history edition, showcasing some of the organisations that we hope to support in future years. This year we feature the sometimes hidden contribution of anarchists and anarchist thought to the artistic avant garde around the world, taking in everything from detective fiction to cabaret and chanson, from Néo-Impressionist to the Japanese anarchist avant garde.
This year's cover features a contribution by London street artist Stik, whose work is increasingly popping up on walls and in galleries near you.
