There are some VERY bad framers in NYC and there are some very shady framers who sell you something that they don't deliver, and there are some exceptional framers that are real artists and take their work very seriously and are not cheap.
what would real untreated copper molding run per foot, not copper colored, copper or untreated copper plate
I frame and could tell you exactly material cost... Couldn't make me anymore unpopular.

My first framing quote on this in NYC was $450 seeing as these were 400 + 40 in sales tax + 65 for international shipping, you are very close to his asking price and well under your offer up above. Framing in this town is a beast to have done right. The gallery was getting 300 for their lame framing. It wasn't bad, but plain vanilla no float double mat glamour job and im sure the glasing was not conservation clear You said I got all nasty to you no??? How about I buy your Stik at cost and frame your other for you for cost of materials... C'mon mr angry you know it makes sense.

was headed to rooq with my faile ballet that i have been procrastinating on anyway so bringing the stik along.
call me crazy but when i pay for framing i want it to look like i paid for framing. I get gallery white box frame with a float mount and some times it is exactly the right thing. But sometimes you just have to go go all Donald Trump on it and get gaudy with it, or at least give it a details that realy makes it pop in a clever way. like this:
i always thought GNF had a bit too much white boarder so i matted mine when i framed it, but that is because i was not clever enough to think of this, which looks awesome. I like how mine ended up, but i like this more

Just an opinion for peeps wanting one ! Just remember there are only 25 worldwide of each colour, not many went to uk collectors so quite rare here in uk .. Well happy with what I paid for mine !!!

many many thanks man. My showcard came today in perfect condition! Super stoked. Will post a pic when the electric work and decorating is finished with it framed up on the wall!! Very generous gesture mate an took me by suprise with the sneaky extra cards ; )
