DALeast 🇨🇳 Wuhan, China • Street Art • Based in Cape Town, by nandaman on Nov 14, 2013 13:27:39 GMT 1, Big fan of Dal and might try to get up there. I think outsiders should really make it 1 print per person so that gives the first 100 a chance to buy as let's face it most of the first 50 will prob buy both I agree. I'm in the US, so I'm not going to get there - but it would be nice for 100 different people to be able to purchase one and enjoy his work on their walls instead of only 50.

DALeast 🇨🇳 Wuhan, China • Street Art • Based in Cape Town, by jayTown on Nov 14, 2013 13:45:48 GMT 1, ok I've just decided to travel up from London earlier. I really want one and don't want to miss out on the chance. Is anyone else coming up from London? I was going to get a ticket but i just don't think i'll be able to get there early enough. If this was in london i'd be bowling up at about 9 to make sure i was in the queue. If i catch the train i'm not going to be arriving till about midday.

Was thinking about travelling up but couldn't get there until about 3pm. I was thinking that would be fine... anyone know what it's usually like in Newcastle? I'd have thought 3-4 hours in advance would have been okay in London even

DALeast 🇨🇳 Wuhan, China • Street Art • Based in Cape Town, by Winter on Nov 15, 2013 15:13:44 GMT 1, Personally I wouldn't travel the length of the country or queue overnight for an owl. That said, I have travelled great distances for art shows. I do like DALeast's street art more than his prints from what I've seen.

Nothing wrong with owls! East London without Dscreet wouldn't be the same. Reckon midday queuing should be ok.

Much as I'd love to have these, the fear of getting there and finding I'm person 52 is too big. Good luck to everyone going.... in the incredibly unlikely event that anyone is going to queue and only wants one, I'd happily take the other from you and make it worthwhile!!

DALeast 🇨🇳 Wuhan, China • Street Art • Based in Cape Town, by Cool User Name on Nov 15, 2013 21:27:13 GMT 1, The queue for the London dare event was under 50 people when I arrived an hour or two before it opened, I think many people were hoping for a free print out of that. So I think turning up midday is probably fine. Really don't want to travel all that way to end up disappointed though.

DALeast 🇨🇳 Wuhan, China • Street Art • Based in Cape Town, by Lroy on Nov 17, 2013 13:07:01 GMT 1, "Popular "! The word is said ! for centuries, art, the one that critics like, make up the price for their own shops or vanities, must not be popular.
At the contrary, art should rhyme with " rare and precious" , with "unpopular", " unic " , secret and " chasse gardée " ! The Artistic - and monetary lol - values of art is not the artist, but indeed in criticism of art, in the antique shops and auctions, gallery owners and museum curators: the Elite ; Supposedly.
The Banksy forum is the example type of what it is, and should not to be ! They are not anymore fans, but art critics and merchants ( for their own purse ! ) at the contrary of their iconic Leader ! Banksy, initially, was the first to be against conventional art and crusts in the museums, and who has given the first letters of nobility (sic) to the street-art, became... popular (go ask a curator of the Louvre what he thinks of Banksy for example) . We can take example on the last DalEast prints on sale at Lazarides: I read:" why Daleast is so " popular " ? - " He is best on the walls but not in prints " - , " He painted only animals " ... " Alsatians, berk " , - " An " Owl " as in my grandfather's home... " - etc... What a contempt ! Even the great artists - or not merit this !
Where isthe problem with Daleast ( I am asking you thebanksy forum ? ) On the contrary Daleast makes progress the street art - in connection, the Banksy forum you should put your House in order and remove some street artists, well obsolete now, lol ) - as Roa, Aryz ( there is not only stencils in art or street-art ?! Do you know that the stencils were treated as pupil arts during centuries ? ) , Stik ( Stik is also popular! and you like it this time however !? ) etc...
I know that for you, this print of Daleast is good for old owls as me ! What to say then patterns and recurring topics in street - art since Banksy, the first ? I summarize: what about balloons, children, children with balloons, rats or monkeys, skeletons and skulls, geishas, and those that paint some " Poulbots or Montmartre's painters " (c215 for example), or soldiers, war scene, aliens invader of videogames, mickeys, and Bambi, Disney 's derisions, etc... etc? ... If this isn't folk and " populart "?... So, be honest and stop to be insulting and despise the people. Be more " open " , Let the people like their own artists, and.... remember to change your Iphone every year.
Snobish world ! Where the rich gets rich !
Paint, no Pain.
* I like all the artists that I named without naming them.

That clears things up then :-)
