You're right that it does look impressive but it really needs a decent frame. The paper is quite thin (70g) and yes, it really is hairy at the edges. Mine is now under a few books to flatten it out although to be fair it's only been in the tube for a short while so there is just light curling at the edges.

Assuming someone might not be able to pay, I just refreshed until it came available again. But I suspect that what really happened is that the web pages were first updated with the images and 'Sold Out' was the default setting before they set the stock level a short while later.
So the feeling they were all presold isn't accurate, it just appeared that way. My own print is number 39 so I guess they weren't all gone either when I reached the checkout.

I liked Daleast Egarim print, so tried my hand at securing the print from PTA, however like most of you I wasnt lucky enough. Since I liked the print, I bought it from a very nice forum member paying good premium.I had requested the member to repack it so that it can make it safely to the USA. Few days ago when I received it one end of the tube was crushed at the edge and it was in the tube sent by PTA...and yes I didnt open it as I want to make sure whether I need to lodge a complaint against UPS myself,, if so will they care as I am the receiver or ask the member who sold me lodge a complaint against UPS. It never happened to me and I am terribly upset. Please let me know how to proceed...

I assume it's the same everywhere as the sender will have the proof of postage and will of pais for any insurance. However I do think you should reject damaged parcels from the courier or at least note the damage when signing for it. Best bet is to check with UPS and the seller. *I am not a professional post lawyer and none of what I have written constitutes professional postman knowledge.

I am actually quite surprised that you took delivery of the item and signed off for it. Usually, I would have a talk with the delivery guy when I see physical damage on the tube itself and not even bother to take delivery. Item would then be sent back automatically to the sender.

That is the first thing you need to do. Hopefully you were smart enough to pay by paypal and not GIFT the payment. The reseller assumes all risk and that is what the good premium is for. Reseller will have to file a claim but you might have to help him as he would need pictures/physical evidence of the damage.
