West Country Prince - Orange Nola & Laugh Now, by RoboJ on Jul 28, 2015 21:18:27 GMT 1, I brought a Girl with Balloon print recently fom WCP because I couldn't afford a genuine and didn't want a cheapo looking digital print from the market for a similar price. I've seen the original at a friends house and I can't tell the difference. I'm under no illusion that mine is a genuine and would never attempt to sell it as such, I don't intent to sell it. It's simple, although banksy didn't price them out of my league, demand has done which is fair enough. I'm enjoying seeing the image framed at my home, realising it was designed by banksy with the meaning it has. Let's not forget banksy doesn't make the screen prints, he orders them someone, he also doesn't slap a 15k price tag on them. I would like to think if I were in his shoes I would be pleased that someone was enjoying a peice I designed even though demand had price them out of the market for a screen print.

I don't condone fakes that aim to mislead people such as dodgy watch sellers but for the reasons above I hope you understand that I can now appreciate the wonderful art of banksy even though I'm not a banker. Surely that's a good thing.
