WTB Adam Neate Original, by quackers on Nov 28, 2013 21:49:30 GMT 1, Hi,
Looking to add an Adam Neate Original to my collection preferably a gallery work, rather than a street piece or pizza box, although strong examples would be considered.
Would prefer UK sale for face to face deal in London or South East with cash available for the right work. I can provide a number of references from established forum members.
Regards, Q
pm me with details.

Good luck. Any sellers, know that this chap is a very good person to deal with, in my experience.

WTB Adam Neate Original, by Manty on Nov 28, 2013 23:47:47 GMT 1, Nice one
Elms usually have a few in case you have not asked them
Just because i am curious (and having to watch some stupid thing on tv, so bored)
what tickles your fancy
2d or 3d
Cardboard or perspex?
what Neate would be your ideal purchase?

Hi Manty,
Thanks fr your message.
Regarding type of work probably a 2d head study of some form, particularly the works which show 'movement'. Certainly not ruling out a more recent Perspex or something with 3d elements though.
If my search comes up short I will probably go for one of the last dimensional editions, Red Portrait (movement) was on of the stand-out works for me, speaking with Fiona they still have a few available.
All the best, Q.

WTB Adam Neate Original, by Dice on Nov 29, 2013 18:07:29 GMT 1, One day I'll buy an elms original. Tried a few WTB threads on here but never quite found the right piece. The problem is that noone wants to sell the good pieces. Chatting with paul from elms he had a hell of job getting people to lend pieces for the history show, let alone selling them! Another problem with elms is VAT, you're looking at 20k plus vat for cardboard/smallish canvas and 30k plus vat for Perspex.
Got a couple of the (superb) dimensional editions tho.
