A few Choe's, by lee3 on Dec 6, 2013 17:28:05 GMT 1, I believe this is my first sale thread as I'm not keen on this part of collecting. Anyway, my better half and I agreed on a new piece last evening with the condition that I pull a few out of storage and move them if they are not going back on the wall. All of these photos are unframed but all have since been framed and I'll get those photos to anyone interested once I get them out on Saturday. Same is true of dimensions as I'm certain on the painting but not precise on the drawing or watercolor until I get them out.
This watercolor I picked up from his then studio in San Jose in '08. It's floated behind museum glass and rough guess is this sheet is ~18x24 inches (~46x60 cm). I paid $7,500 + framing and I'd look for offers there unless I'm completely off with respect to values today (and if so I'd prefer to learn of my pricing error via pm as opposed to a drawn out, "you greedy son of a bitch" sales threads that many of these turn into).
This drawing is smaller than the watercolor on a sheet of paper and call it ~10x12 in (~25x30 cm/sq). It too is framed with class (if i do say so myself) behind museum glass and was picked up from his studio in early '08 but is dated '07. I paid $3k at the time and a few hundred for framing.
detail:
Lastly is a painting (that has since been framed without glass) that I picked up from Laz back in the day and happy to provide that receipt but please for the love of god do not remind me what I paid for this. I love this artist dearly but suffer from a severe lack of facebook stock by comparison so thus the sale. I hope I'm not way off guessing $20k for offers on this one but am hardly an expert and I don't have the pricing from that recent mexican show to refer to. This one is exactly 4x2 feet (122x61cm) on wood. Not sure how this one got off my wall now that I look at that photo but whatever.
If I am way off on values, then I'm not selling these so my apologies. I don't have many references either save for the buy side of this hobby. Sold a piece to Nu back in the wallkandy days and I think that's about it. In the SF bay area if anyone wants to pick up but happy to use an art shipper if the offer is right. Thanks for your consideration

A few Choe's, by lee3 on Dec 7, 2013 19:28:29 GMT 1, Thanks all, here are the framed pieces with proper dimensions.
The sheet for the drawing is 11.5 by 16.25 inches (29.2 x 41.3cm). Framed it's 15.75 x20.5 inches (40x52 cm). Cloth/linen behind the drawing and museum glass. Please forgive my stupidity for taking this photo from the side as that drawing if centered in the frame despite the illusion of that photo.
The painting measures 48 x 24 inches (122 x 61 cm) Framed it's 49.5 x 25.25 inches (126 x 65 cm). The frame is silver from the front and black from the sides.

A few Choe's, by lee3 on Dec 7, 2013 19:37:18 GMT 1, For whatever reason it wasn't letting me add the watercolor to that previous post. The water color measures 23.5 x 18 inches (60x 46 cm). Framed it's 29.5 x 23.75 inches (75 x 60 cm). This is a wood frame with museum glass. For those that care, this watercolor is illustrated/published in the Choe interview portion of the Art in the Streets book from a handful of years ago.
