Clearly the reason the Aussies are doing well is the beloved Mo. Maybe the English need to grown some facial hair and get their mojo back. www.theguardian.com/sport/2013/dec/10/australian-sportsmen-moustache-mitchell-johnson

No excuses for England truly awful and beaten by a much better side

The Ashes 2013/14 - and other cricket tales. , by letiss on Dec 17, 2013 9:49:42 GMT 1, This always seemed a tour too far and hopefully back to back Ashes won't happen for awhile. Just as much for the fans as the players.
The Aussies were excellent though and have made England look very ordinary. Reckon though that England are still a good team and don't need to suddenly axe five or six players. Perhaps drop Prior as he's been on borrowed time for six months.

Haha! Imy response may well have bee different if England had won! Fickle! But fir me it football (crystal palace) and rugby (Northampton saints) all the way. I am nonetheless envious of your weather and general outlook on life/work/fun balance.

Sell up and move over the lifestyle and weather are great, do miss family, friends, lads days at football etc. but its gets easier with Skype and flights are getting cheaper every year.
I hope Palace stay up, hoping Cardiff go down, they got Solsjkaer in now as manager and another 25m quid to spend!! so their new crazy owner has spent 50m plus another 25m, hopefully they do a QPR. We have Napolli next round of the Europa, can't see us winning that but would be great to keep going, although its affecting the league form with so many games and injuries. A few more losses and we get dragged into a relegation battle

The Ashes 2013/14 - and other cricket tales. , by johnnyh on Jan 5, 2014 7:14:18 GMT 1, Congrats to all the Aussies. What a disgrace for England torn apart. Three Lions not so much as a Siamese cat on those shirts with the odd exception. Fully give credit to the Aussies for a great performance but no Decent side should be destroyed like that especially as they have opened gaps up against the Aussies just not had the skill, will or fight to have a go. They have fully deserved their win but England should not have gone down 5-0 as they have had the opportunities to get a result. They have however been massively out played. So it's humble pie for awhile four us

That series was definitely more one-sided than i thought it would be at the start. But we'll take it. It's not even been a contest, which was a shame. But at least it has regenerated an interest in cricket in Australia.
Just as teams are prepared to bask in their glory via an open-topped bus tour I think they should also be made to do it if they fail so miserably. That way the public have access to tell the directly what we think. I for one would take a day off work to abuse them. And not just the players, the whole f***in' lot of them ( backroom staff etc ) involved in this debacle. What a load of crap! www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/cricket/international/theashes/10433915/The-Ashes-2013-14-England-ridiculed-for-sending-82-page-list-of-goji-berry-and-quinoa-catering-demands.html

The Ashes 2013/14 - and other cricket tales. , by Deleted on Apr 5, 2014 22:55:56 GMT 1, County championship starting next week. Somerset are gonna surprise a few this year. A shame Jos Butler has left to play for Lancs. He is the most outstanding talent in limited over English cricket ever. Although difficult to compare the past and present with the game being so different now with the advent of T20. Ashes I hear you say ?.
