Canvas hanging, by jusdeep on Dec 27, 2013 18:49:35 GMT 1, If it's a canvas as was said above. Just screw loop pins in the inside frame and hang with wire or use back plates and screw directly to the wall. You could also screw a central hanging plate and just hang off a screw or hook. Another option would be to use keyhole plates or two hinged hooks either side, (slightly more tricky to hang but safer and more stable on the wall). All depends on weight really and what is more appropriate for your home and if you have kids who might knock or a wife/gf who's a little slapdash with her dusting. If your canvas is on an outside wall make sure it is hung off the wall with ventialtion as not to attract moisture and damp. If it is heavy make sure you use appropriate rawplugs and length of screw for false walls or directly into brick.

Canvas hanging, by rsj on Dec 28, 2013 10:10:27 GMT 1, Just want to say that I have mostly always simply either balanced canvas on nails or tied a string onto the inner support frame and then hanged onto a hook/nail. It saves you from having to drill/screw into the canvas' frame. Of course this works only if you know no one touches the canvas at your home.
