Charity auction last night put together by Sean Penn to benefit Haiti which featured Banksy's latest. To my eyes this one is by far the best execution of this image and for that matter, one of the most detailed the artist has ever created. I keep revisiting this one admiring the shades of red which are both hypnotic and haunting given the cause. I thought it could do $350-400k prior to the auction but was surprised by the final price. Well done to everyone involved.
