It amazes me how people chase around for the likes of Martin Whatson , Pure Evil, Dolk, Dot Dot Dot etc, when their are guys like Adam Neate and Micallef in this scene, really does amaze me. I am not saying PE, MWor DDD are bad artists, i just feel that these two are streets ahead of many artists in this scene. It is just the fact they have been around for a while and people do not see flip potential, so they don't get the credit they deserve. I would fill my house with works by these two over anyone else in this scene.

While I completely agree with your premise, Micallef has done ZERO that I have seen since I got into the genre in late 2010.

Paul told me this was an old piece from stock, they loved it and it sold very quickly. I didn't ask about prices of the works.

I agree but people can be influenced by what other people are buying too. Some people don't have the confidence to go against the trend.
The photos of the artworks in this thread show a lot of Picasso, Dali and Bacon influences.

Adam and Elms produce new work for every show that they attend. So each show is a mixture of work brand new, current, editions, then one or two others from the vault as it were. Really do great displays for each show. Disappointed not to be at Sing this year as I am out of Asia. Adam always has a great show there. Stunning pics great artist in my opinion |

They have had a great few days and the interest in Adam is massive. I saw a couple of people picking up their pieces, the editions I guess, Paul says Adam can only produce about 40 pieces a year so the supply is very restricted. I tried to get some better photos of a couple of the 3d images but photos just don't capture how good they are
