Horrid, horrid attitude towards buyers The image is very similar to the last. It's one of their characters coming through the wall. Background is predominantly red. Pants, shirt and hat are all patterned. The character is reaching for a small yellow/gold cube.
At that price point, it appears Os Gemeos themselves are reaching for some gold cubes.

Think it was €4000-5000 last time or there abouts.

Lost of artists make small $ making murals, and OS NEVER release prints, so clearly if they are living off this and the small amount of original art they sell, it's going to be more expensive. Does a print from Shep every single week feel better? He's anti-capitalism if I've ever seen it. What about Banksy ? Creates a fake artist out of a crazy frenchman so he can make money off of Brainwash prints and his movie without destroying his Banksy brand ? I believe that many of the artists I love are in it to make art, and really believe in what they are doing, but I don't think anyone in any job wants to be starving forever. The price of this print is only a result of the small number of prints they make, and the fact that they want to make a 17 layer piece that they like instead of pumping out crap once a month to me is a positive, despite the fact that I can definitely not afford it.

Os Gemeos is arguably in the same league as kaws and his prices are similer at source (recently at least) and kaws has probably 3,000+ prints in circulation. Considering Os Gemoes only has 198 prints ever released the price is quite good all things considered.
In terms of Long term investment value it's probably a better buy than say a middle-range banksy. If you look at artists who didn't produce many prints, like Cy Twombly for example, there multiples tend to be the most expensive decades down the line.
The price is quite high, but considering thier body of work as a whole it's probably spot on. Os Gemeos is arguably in the same league as kaws and his prices are similer at source (recently at least) and kaws has probably 3,000+ prints in circulation.
