The process comparing to silkscreen is way harder imho. Idem Paris is one of the best production house in the world using this techniquie. They have served Picasso , Matisse and some other big name in the past.
This is the Lithograph I have from idem
According to their weibo. this lithograph has 35 colour and grey itself is 15 something. It took more than 2 months to complete.
and yes, this one cost more than 5K now
Im not going to comment if Gemeos worth 5K or not, but l guess you won't be disappointed

I have to dig my copy out of a mess of stuff.

Yes some of his print work is next level and needs to be seen in person. i was lucky enough to meet him once in the early 2000's, and love my 2 tapestries. (The smaller China ones not the huge ones from France)

Giving a nano-second to make a decision at the perceived entry point is a bit of a piss take imo.

The Assum Preto book is black cloth covered and not that big....not sure it looks like a book?....more like a colour print out / proof as it has a white border around it?
I guess we are all trying to interpret the images on Insta to discover the print image!

I guess it is likely a new piece just in the style of some of the previously seen pieces - it was bugging me that Id seen it before but can't find it anywhere, so must just look like something else. Of course, I'm looking at various stages of a work in progress on Instagram so could be miles out!

Could it be possible that while they are in Paris they are working in multiple editions at the same time?
Many pics are in process and the one pic they are signing the edition. We don't know when they started. Perhaps they finished the one and are working on a second. It possible and answers the pics of conflicting images.

It could be a hat but if you zoom in, I think it's another head wearing a balaclava.
