I'm just saying that this release was a great success and they have gained in 10 minutes a lot of money (one half?? one third of what they usually earn in a year??) So, I think that in the near future we will see other Os Gemeos Prints.... I think they made in 10 min what they usually earns on like 1 or 2 canvases. And I'm pretty sure they make a lot of stuff in one year and it looks like they are not in the business for the dollars.
Seems to me that at these levels of the game the dollars are the business; otherwise you do not sell a print at 4k euro imo

Between this and the last compical drop I have 5k towards my Adam Neate. So what OG originals is not a huge amount more? All I could find from auctions (that was worth buying) was a hell of a lot more. We're speaking like 15x times more..
I know you can't compare directly, but I feel 4k is a lot for a print. Not suggesting it won't appreciate in value and I would have bought one, but there is something in me that prefers an original.

I have seen much better art from them that would have looked better
But not bad for a cheap 'starter' print
I had heard they are going to have 2 releases a month for the next 10 years, around 400 in each run.
Not sure if the guy was bullshitting me ;-)

In our fat boys bike club the wives/ partners all think our bikes are worth around £200 each, we have a deal that if and when one of us pegs it, the others have to make sure the wife doesn't take the bike down the tip

What do people think of the image? I like it very much. It's a great representation of their work both inside and outside. For me it makes sense to do a print that really shows that they still work on the streets. The figure is a very typical OG image so it's easy to see who it's by for an untrained eye. All in all very happy with the image. |
