Clearly BANKSY Incorporated is still about themselves. Iโm sure thatโs doing a whole lot of good for people right now that are starving or need PPE. ๐ Itโs cool. In my opinion, not cowboying the fukk up and doing something as the most famous artist in the world seems like something that is going to hurt his brand more than anything. Let me ask you a question. How much money do you think BANKSY could raise if he followed 3D and Hirst and did something that ACTUALLY matters, like putting money in the coffers of those who are saving lives RIGHT NOW? How many lives do you think something that takes him 5 minutes could save? So yeah, maybe BANKSY should act like a man of the people he once was instead of a bloke who only supports the coffers and walls of the .0001% of society. Or where do you think his hospital jam will end up?
Maybe Banksy decides for himself which charities he wants to support and which causes he backs. And in general perhaps raising awareness for issues or charities that not everyone else is bandwagoning on has more value then just pointlessly following the issue du jour. Perhaps he feels, as I do, that the NHS is not a charity. But whatever he thinks or you think, donating a million pound painting to a hospital seems a rather generous act anyway.

I was thinking he could pick whatever charity he wants vs a single hospital. The point is people beat on the politicians, I do as well. But, he has the power to save lives right NOW. So why wouldnโt he step up on a grander scale?
He could do a series of canvases for each country and auction them off and pick a charity. I donโt give a shiit. The point is, it would be nice to see someone with such star power do more NOW.

i get it, you are entitled to your own opinion..doesn't it get tiring though? you bash and bash, sleep,wake up, and keep on bashing. it just seems and comes off like frustrated energy that can be of so much help to you in other aspects of your daily living. have you tried using that energy to bash your self short comings, we all have them..imagine what good you would do to yours if you positively criticised yourself everyday until "that project" or "those chores" were done...man, put that energy into a better workout, more pushups, something of the likes...make it positive for yourself

As Iโm sure you are aware, thereโs a ton of people who donโt donate without a kick in the ass to separate themselves from the mighty dollar.
BANKSY has the ability to separate millions of those dollars during the worst crisis in modern history and funnel it to those who need it most.
I guess, I see what Hirst is doing and think, damn, BANSKY should do something bigger and better and take the attention away from the nonsense in the news and make it about what we should be doing.
