Macbook pro SDD, by Manty on Jan 28, 2014 9:32:20 GMT 1, Ok, being real crap with IT stuff, I can only say that adding one of these to my 2012 pro was a really good move.
Old hard disc decided to stop turning, so got a crucial 1tb thing (limited edition, don't think its signed)
Put SSD into a caddy, formatted it, added Mavericks (free download), put into laptop, did the time machine thing, and f**k me it worked
Indesign and photoshop open in a couple of seconds!
Really cool upgrade.
and really easy, didn't even need to ask my 11 year old anything

i did what they call a clean install, i'm sure you know what that is, so its like a new machine with all my progs, parallels, windows etc etc, and so fast
