Framing tips - Banksy trolleys, by sondrer on Feb 4, 2014 13:59:51 GMT 1, Hi, going to frame a B/W unsigned trolleys but not sure what frame to chose yet. Any got any tips or inspiration?
The GF wants white frame and I think float mounting would be nice (beacause of the edges), but not sure if this would work together. Any thoughts?

Framing tips - Banksy trolleys, by ABC on Feb 4, 2014 14:58:02 GMT 1, I will post a pic of mine later. Black frame with white mount with Orange edge (Picks out the orange trolley handles out, looks great). By far the best Banksy print IMO.

floated but with a 1/2" gap around the piece, then a nice white mat over a black undermat (for the outline), and hearty white box frame.
i have a candice tripp print done exactly in this way:

Framing tips - Banksy trolleys, by dsd on Feb 13, 2014 0:00:59 GMT 1, I went to the framers yesterday to get my two trolleys and hackney loot team framed .
Ended up with a really nice Italian frame with a large boarder with bkack edge with museum glass .As I'm in queensland and humidity is high he is going to trap it with a few hinges and not float .I learnt quite a bit whilst there .Will follow up with pictures when I get them back .Another thing that I have learnt is it's not cheap.
