What makes you so certain that it is not? I am not saying that it is, as like everyone else I do not know, but with that said doesn't that make it still a possibility (however so very slim of a possibility) that it "could" be? So in short, if you are saying "there is no way on this earth this is a Banksy, what makes you so positive, or is it more that you HOPE that it is not a Banksy and you missed it? haha, you wish. Not a hope in hells chance mate.
I am not saying, or in any way implying, that it IS Banksy, but can anyone really say that it is not?
History has proven that an artist (in image or text) can using many names, and release work using those names. It's called a pseudonym...
I do not know if there is a contract between Banksy and POW, but for the sake of argument let's say there is, and that contract says that Banksy (which is a pseudonym in itself) must release all printed works by that name through POW and POW alone. How do you get past/around that? You use a different name.
Just an example is Prince. Prince was fed up with his label, but could not get out of his contract. So what did Prince do? He legally changed his name to a symbol, in which time he was then freely able to release work outside of the label that contracted "Prince". Once his contact had expired, he then changed his name back.
So again I ask, why makes people so 100% sure that this is not work being release by an artist formerly known as Banksy?

Am i talking to collectors here or 5 year olds Well I am not five I have been posting on here for more than 5 years...all I am saying is that you saying it's only pest control that sells banksy work is clearly not true....but i also think this is not banksy either and that if anything it will turn out to be another artist from the past but given how this has blown up I don't think we will ever know. If it's some noob I would expect another release soon to cash in. If in 6 months there are no more outis prints then maybe we can speculate some more about it being banksy as surely if it's him it would just be a one off? So what everyone needs to show is some patience but that is always lacking in this forum

I have NEVER said that I am 100% certain that it is, I asked the question (again only to play devils advocate as I was upfront saying) why there are so many people that are 100% sure that it is not.
