Even if it was Banksy (not reigniting the debate so please don't start with the 'but it's not' responses) if he was playing the Outis piece properly (ie in line with the definition of Outis etc) then if PC just said yes it's him would be pretty lame wouldn't it? If it was him, then I would expect it to be water tight. Actually, the fact that the image is a bit ropey in areas could be deliberate to make the whole thing seem to be not by him because it's not supposed to look like it's by him (the rules of artists using the name Outis).
That said, Im not trying to reopen this and all of the above could be applied to any work - I can't even remember why it was linked to him in the first place!
