OUTIS • Print Release • Street Art, by Deleted on Mar 5, 2014 23:37:48 GMT 1, I heard Jimmy Young mention Outis the other day on the radio box, he was asking members of the public to phone in and place their guess as to who it was, top vote in poll was Tony Harts daughter but it cant be her as she was picking a van up in St Helens and on her way home she discovered that it had no radio but merely a picture of one stuck to the dashboard!, it also had four gears instead of five. Shortly after that a wild Penguin was found basking in sunlight while sucking on a fishermans friend, it turned out to be George Michael in panto again. I woke up then.
Outis is an anagram of Stiou so thats who i reckon it is.

Its safe to say that this is a excellent temperature test of the craziness that involves print releases. And that we can look forward to Outis being nothing more than the butt of a joke, and a great marketing ploy that ended up profiting the print maker and the unknown artist a nice sum of money for having a laugh at the market that supports them. Well the printer atleast, the artist can go on being the real artist he was before Outis without it really effecting him.

I bought a watch from an ad in the back of The Sun once. It was my first watch. It looked great in the ad. Sent my money off, watch arrived a week later. I also think that if GP announced another Outis release tomorrow, we'd end up with another 40+ page thread. There's been no great reveal of who Outis is, although he may be a 14 year old Photoshop wiz in his bedroom or he may be ... nope I won't say it, but people will buy what they like or buy it to flip and the haters are gonna hate.

The proof is JPS posts a FB picture a month after the print release of something resembling Outis flowers ?. Or have I missed something ?
I'd be disappointed if it was JPS, because looking at his work on FB, the Outis print is the best thing he's ever done
