So it wouldn't be delivered by Valentines Day then.Missed a trick me thinks? Definitely not Banksy then.

OUTIS • Print Release • Street Art, by eschiff on Feb 11, 2014 16:12:05 GMT 1, who is the artist? First release? More info would be nice for an artist releasing prints for (what i'm guessing) is the first time. Mysterious? How so? Because no-one has heard of him/her/them?

OUTIS • Print Release • Street Art, by Graffiti Prints on Feb 11, 2014 16:28:12 GMT 1, Abit of info on the artist would be nice too if you had info then it wouldn't be very mysterious, would it?! now shut it! all we know is where we sent them too, which country and what address which obviously i can not share. we did have a long old think on should we do it when we don't know jack shit about the artist, if its a girl or boy or anything but we were intrigued by the image so we printed it.
we were esp impressed when we received the sprayed version to scan and how well it was sprayed...
the comment on his facebook is sorta ringing true - if you took away the brand name what would you have left - i find that very interesting when it should be that the art shines through and not the brand name but life just does not work like that....

OUTIS • Print Release • Street Art, by hnkpnk on Feb 11, 2014 16:49:02 GMT 1, From wikipedia: "Outis is an often used pseudonym. Artists, writers and others in public life use this pseudonym in order to hide their identity."
So this "mysterious" artist registered banksyny on Facebook with a link to banksy.co.uk on the first day of BOTI. Then only posted exactly what was on Banksys BOTI-page. Nothing since until yesterday with a link to a page with all the trademark signs of the Banksy web page.
And now you know nothing about this "artist"? And the "taking away the brand name"?
You're just trying to sell a bad Banksy copycat as if it was Banksy under pseudonym. Nice try, but no thanks. But a pretty good scam.
Edit: forgot to mention the rat. Edit2: I realize you can read the above as if i believe it's Banksy. No I don't, but I admire the work that's gone into the hoax.

OUTIS • Print Release • Street Art, by badgersurf on Feb 11, 2014 17:07:04 GMT 1, This raises the issue of do you buy your art because it has been done by someone famous or do you buy your art becasue you like the picture and it would look good in your collection on your wall? Me personally I would only buy something that I liked and would have on my wall.

OUTIS • Print Release • Street Art, by letiss on Feb 11, 2014 17:09:02 GMT 1, I for one trust GP on this, as Graffiti Prints have done some excellent work over the past few months and reputationaly wouldn't want to sell there customers a pup. Come to think of it I can't think of one GP release that hasn't been well received on here, so why damage that for a quick profit?

He already said he has no idea who the artist is. Do you trust they are making money? Or that he likes the artist that he doesn't know?

Come to think of it I can't think of one GP release that hasn't been well received on here, so why damage that for a quick profit? thanks - we did just like the image and took the risk, the image is a nice valentines type image with the twist in the flowers i thought the image itself raised questions but no one has mentioned that.
i never thought about banksy, its stencil art not banksy art and i was super disappointed when the guy posted up as banksy (i doubt it) as i never wanted it to be associated with banksy.

OUTIS • Print Release • Street Art, by mmmike on Feb 11, 2014 17:23:02 GMT 1, I'm sure lots of people will buy this hoping they are from Banksy even if they don't like the image. Really it can't be thought of as removing the artist from the equation. It is more like insinuating it might be a famous artist and therefore worth a shit load of cash. A cheap marketing trick either by an unknown artist or a well known artist afraid to release it truly anonymously.
If you really wanted to remove the artist from the equation it would not have been referenced by a Banksy related facebook page.

Certainly found the right audience on here, it could bloody well be a banksy...although we all know it isn't.
....oh and yeah, I'll be buying one.
