I want to inform everyone that there is a missing Smoking Silence out there and there is a CASH REWARD for anyone who leads to its return. I bought the Smoking Silence below from a trusted ebay seller who sent the print over a month a go. The trail ends cold at US Customs, where it seems to have gone "missing." If anyone sees this Smoking Silence #1: Golden Orange #5 of 8 www.faile.net/store/item.php?id=784702181&s=1 out there please call the cops or PM me. Once again this has been the hardest post that I have ever had to write and if anyone knows that where abouts of this beautiful print please return it to me and I will reward you for your service. I am sorry to hear that, I really hope it just shows up somehow (not on eBay obviously) or has just been mislaid and is ok. If it has been stolen though maybe someone from admin could add a link to the top of the board (outside the threads) which does an automatic ebay search for all the details of the print, if everyone keeps clicking on it in an idle moment you could pretty much guarantee it wouldn't be very long before it (or something that might be it) was spotted by someone.

Yea I have insurance on it but I would rather the print arrive. I am just hoping that it will show. I have tracking but it stops at customs and thats all the info. I am just worried that someone in customs swiped it? Has this happened to anyone before? A package going through the post that took forever to locate?

Lost or Stolen Faile Smokin Silence, by GD303uk on Dec 15, 2007 10:58:14 GMT 1, I have had things held up in customs for a few weeks, and when you track it you cant see where it is past entering the country, sometimes they get checked by customs and this can add a few weeks on , and not being able to track and see where it is makes it a scary time, i have not had anything like a print lost in post,(yet, touch wood)
the worst thing to happen to me was DHL taking a Canvas DSTQ back to stolen space , i could trak it to the london sorting office and after that nothing, i was bricking it DHL insuarnce is terrible, i think it was for ยฃ30. hours of phoning and days of panicking in the end i called stolen space just incase , and sure enough the item had been checked out of sorting and delivered without registering it,
sometimes it can be a horrible experiance posting art, and it can take time especially if sending international, but it should get there, eventually.
i dont think an employee would steel it he wouldnt know the price or what is in it, and they would be risking their job.
your print will turn up.

Bought a print from the States early in September that took 5 weeks to arrive, most of which seemed to have been spent in US customs, and I guess it's probably really busy there at this time of year.
