are you saying that you wouldnt have bought the signed trolleys for £500 in the same situation? it sounds a damn good price to me.

These prices are extremely fair. Especially for that Parla. It's a beaut.

Yes I would have bought one. I tried but I missed out. But I could afford £500. This is a blatant flip IMO

going out of debt sale - the sequel, by alsbabar on Dec 17, 2007 1:35:37 GMT 1, BUYERS BE WARNED
I have a dispute with the sale of a particular item on this thread. Scud80 has $400 of my money for the Titifreak print - which he received on 1st December via Paypal - I still havent received the print nor have I received my money back.
I am still pursuing a refund from Paypal for this money.

Wait a sec...is he trying to sell the titifreak to someone else? The one he sold you?

Can you expand on that a little, Scud80 deals quite a lot. From the States I believe. Always thought he was quite mature & professional. What's the excuse/reason ?

I have bought from Scud before and from my dealing with him, it was a very smooth transaction all the way to the end as he handed off the piece to me in person... I don't know the details of your deal so I can just tell you about mine... he seemed like a good guy to me...

going out of debt sale - the sequel, by scud80 on Dec 17, 2007 18:19:08 GMT 1,
ok, regarding this situation:
he said he wanted to buy my print on november 26. on december 1 he sent payment in the form of an echeck, which was then not scheduled to clear until december 11. on december 11, *immediately* after the echeck cleared, a paypal complaint was filed saying the charge was unauthorized and the funds were withheld while paypal "investigated". i sent him a message to ask what was going on and here is his verbatim response:
hey jake yes, the wife pulled the funds back, as it was her money - it took so long to get the money out, she noticed it. Sorry, nothing i can do here - but the deal has to be off - have you shipped it?
and he has since sent me 2 more messages asking why i haven't refunded his money, which i don't even have since paypal has frozen it, or sent the print, which he was perhaps hoping i would send before the echeck cleared so he would then have his money and the print for free. and in the meantime he has flown to the ghetto and purchased the trolleys print at a combined cost of at least $5500 while saying this deal which was agreed to weeks before "has to be off".
and i have the complete pm conversation between myself and him to corroborate *everything* i've said above.
edit:
apparently i get to look like an ass now, as yesterday paypal removed the hold they had placed on the funds without notifying me.

I've had dealings with you before Scud, I'd say you were an all around stand up guy and would for certain vouch for your integrity in a sale or trade. Glad to hear it's sorted. Sounds like the buyer got cold feet or found it elsewhere cheaper. Shame.

No Nuart I didnt get cold feet, the guy takes my money, doesnt ship for over 2 weeks, so yes I will question the validity of the sale, and the person thats selling it, especially when that person puts it up for a sale again!!!!

You try and get involved in something, discuss and debate, a moderator told me to post "Buyer Be Warned" in the room, so I did.
Scud80, why did repost the item for sale again - when you know full well you have my money? That is what has instigated this issue, and you post knowing that I am going to be away for a month so I wont be here to receive it?

I think the negs you're getting is from the other thread, where you accused someone of flipping, whereby someone posted a link to your ebay account where you're selling some recently released prints yourself.
Or maybe a combination of that and this thread?

going out of debt sale - the sequel, by alsbabar on Dec 17, 2007 21:04:19 GMT 1, i havent accused anyone of flipping - yes I may be selling stuff on ebay, but its not at extortionate prices or where I have turned it around before I even received the print.
With the Banksy Flag I bought it on the secondary market and am selling it at below cost to me - so I dont see how that is flipping.
This whole flipping issue is getting way out of hand and is totally boring also - so what if someone buys something to sell it on, you dont know there circumstances or their reasons - too much judging going on and not enough discussing, afterall that is what a forum is about - not for some overzealous people to neg someone because they dont agree with them.
Anyway I am not going hijack this thread about my negs - the issue is between me and Scud - and the fact that it he reposted the item for sale, would have raised alarm bells for anyone - and that is the crux of this issue and had the Moderator not told me to post in this forum I wouldnt have!!

I wish i could keep them all, but thats not possible

2 weeks, thought he said that's how long it took for your e-cheque to clear ? sounds about right to me. He seems to have explained things ok. You yourself listed and started this thread.. he explained, your "sister's money blah blah" sounds pretty lame IMO. But hey.. Like I said, I've dealt with scud before and smooth as. Hence my questioning your "buyer beware" thread on the guy. That should maybe be a last resort when all else has failed and you know 100% you've been ripped off. Personally, sounds like you bottled out of a deal, then posted a dodgy thread slating him before it was resolved.

No i havent bottled out of any deal Nuart, you dont know me to make such a disparaging comment.
The fact of the matter is, and as previously stated, I asked for a moderators opinion on the issue and was informed to put a Buyer Beware notice in this thread.
Scud80 posted originally that the Sempre was for sale - so why would anyone sell something which they sold before? While you may vouch for him, I dont know him to trust him and that was when I raised my issue on this thread, because I felt like i was doing a service to other members, not to get slated or to have my character assassinated by you lot.
At least I had the bottle to put myself out there to make a statement about something which concerned me.
