Who is Pejac?, by Suben on May 28, 2014 18:17:13 GMT 1, I spoke to Paypal, they said that the email address that the money is being sent to didn't exist (or wasn't confirmed) on their system. Even the payments that did get through were in unclaimed status. As I was on the phone mine changed to completed status and the advisor said that the email address is now on the system and confirmed, so in theory payments should work now...... Geester is totally right. Email account was confirmed and all orders have been accepted and listed. Will be sending confirmations to everybody asap. Only 10 copies left.

Who is Pejac?, by Liverpool ste123 on May 28, 2014 19:01:13 GMT 1, Took the plunge on this, having lost out on the recent DOLK/Neate releases...
Now in two minds as to whether or not I'm 'feeling' it?
This art game is damn stressful - God knows what I'll be like when it comes to deciding which of my portfolio is going to be framed and make the wall!

Who is Pejac?, by lifeonwalls on May 28, 2014 19:38:30 GMT 1, To me it's a circle of life thing in that death gives birth to new life kinda thing.
That said, I don't really like the idea of having an image about suicide on my wall, no matter how honorable some think it can be. Thought about buying for the flat file but its large size (and the $68 shipping) turned me away. Hoping that he'll release another image by the end of the year - no need to rush back with another print right away...focus on the street work.

There is continuity in those images, the artist obviously cares about the environment and mankinds impact on it but there is hope. Im starting to like this guy.

Who is Pejac?, by Jeezuz Jones Snr on May 28, 2014 20:08:09 GMT 1, The original of the print was posted on a thread in here, it in a French auction 3000euros plus, looks great.. I like this print but not sure if it would get up on my wall and where? I like his works though.

Who is Pejac?, by stang on May 28, 2014 21:46:45 GMT 1, Really love this (I bought one) but my only gripe is that there's a lot of blank paper at the top of the print and it might have worked better as a square at say 70x70cm or even in a landscape orientation? Think it's unnecessarily huge- especially with framing costs and wall space at a premium. Delighted to have picked one up all the same

Who is Pejac?, by cafebrazil on Jul 12, 2014 21:47:13 GMT 1, sometimes it happens that in the world of urban art you can find a hidden gem, something that really catches your attention. Periodically I follow street art blogs, and a couple of pieces attracted my attention in the last months. I didn't really pay attention to the author, till I accidentally realized that those works were by the same artist: the Spanish artist Pejac (sometimes erroneously credited as Pejak). So I made my due diligence and found a great artist. And finally I purchased the drawing (titled "Anhelo") I already posted on the latest arrival thread. To know more about him, just check his blog here
Any more concrete information on Pejac out there? For instance, how long he has been doing street art, or what cities he has hit, or his favorite mixed drink--anything besides the promotional blurbs I keep finding in English. His Facebook begins in July 2011 primarily linking to his former blog, then there is a gap between August 14, 2012 and May 7, 2013, followed by a greater number of his art pic posts. He is in many of the pictures, so does not appear to be anonymous (in the Banksy sense). Maybe there is information in Spanish that I can't find? An example of something in Spanish is this blog entry from Little Nemo's Kat that was linked to his old blog.

Who is Pejac?, by skendo1 on Aug 17, 2014 16:27:22 GMT 1, The Seppuku print was my first ever art purchase and I was super excited to get it. My only gripes--as a few other people have mentioned--are that it is so big and has slightly odd dimensions with lots of blank space. I've been exploring framing options but haven't pulled the trigger given the expense. I'd love to know what other people did in terms of framing/matting/etc. and the associated costs.

What about the fact it's most likely fake, not really seppuku at all?
I've looked at this very carefully and think it's just a clever illusion, a big con.
It's all in the visual angle. We used to do it as kids โ the old "I've been stabbed!", sword-under-the-arm trick.
