Who is Pejac?, by wottagunn on Sept 18, 2017 6:38:13 GMT 1, had my Seppuku framed. No mat, just a spacer and timber frame. I went in to the framers with a completely different idea to what I ended up with, as most things didnt work for me. Ended up finding this frame that matched the figures tones almost perfectly, and I think the result is pretty great.

Great choice of framing. One of Pejacโs best in my opinion. I like how they are all individually hand finished.

Who is Pejac?, by Schrรถdinger's Chat on Sept 18, 2017 16:23:11 GMT 1, On September 30th Pejac will be opening a 2 days show in Venice, Italy, at the iconic Squero di San Trovaso, one of the very last places where traditional gondolas are still hand made.
"A Forest" will consist mostly of the artist's most recent works from The Redemption Series, done on pressed wood panels. This particular series is addressing the senseless ways in which humans are using natural resources, leaving a shameful trail of destruction behind. By re purposing these evidences of human nearsightedness into poetic visual interventions, Pejac brings these objects back to life and creates eye opening narratives. The impact of these unparalleled works is only accented by exhibiting them in a sinking city, among some of the very last craftsmen that created the images of Venice as the world knows it.
This exhibition is coinciding with the Venice Biennale so the artworks will be for viewing only. The opening hours are on 30th of September from 4 to 9 pm and on 1st of October from 11 am to 8 pm.

It's good to see in the more recent photo that Alinoe posted that the piece hasn't been tampered with at all. The Norwegians have such good manners!
