its down to them... packed incorrectly this is bound to happen. Was it those weird card tabs they had holding the print in place??

Problem is they have to have a cut off period for damaged prints in the post. If the damage is to the ends, creases etc, then it is worth sending some photos across to them. Or better still if the tube has been damaged. Definately worth pushing for, even if you can arrange a discount that suits both.

another boardie has PM'd me about the same issue that damaged his print since my post 25min ago.
guess what, in max's email, he has indicated that the tab problem is a known issue!
the print was received in my china address on dec 16, and i emailed him on jan 13. so it is within a month's time. whether you think it's too been too long since release or not, it's you call. but according to max, the cut off was 2 weeks time.

Don't think the tab idea was a particularly clever idea though !!!
On a final note the print looks 1000x better framed and even the excess top and bottom white border areas look fabulous !!!

Max has been great in my dealings with him. This one arrived packaged more securely than Seppuku, but what's up with those tabs? What was the point of them?

Jeremy Geddes does the same btw - with regards to replacement policies. You have to contact them within two weeks to report a damaged tube or print, so Max's reaction was not atypical given the amount of time that had passed.

The simplicity in his work is what strikes me the most. In the age of multiple colorways and jazzed up Photoshop images, simple and clean lines are refreshing. Definitely an artist to watch in 2015.
