Reclusive British street artist Banksy has reworked one of his most celebrated pieces to mark the third anniversary of the ongoing conflict in Syria.
The image of a girl with a balloon will be projected onto various international landmarks on 13 March, among them the Eiffel Tower and Nelson's Column.
The new image will promote #withsyria, a campaign to rally support for victims of the conflict.

a) He would realise a great deal of money for the charity and purchasers who would have a poignant reminder of the slaughter in Syria
b) He would realise a great deal of money for the charity and the primary purchasers would churn them out for a 5000% markup to be spunked on facile shite, the eventual purchasers would then have a poignant reminder of the slaughter in Syria
This is why he is now residing in *** and why he wont be releasing any public prints in the future. This is why he is so totally fucking sick of the circus and the wankers involved that he considered going public and hanging up his cans.

I don't think we will see this as a print, I wonder if we will see another print that is sold to the public. I know VIPS once in a while get offered something new.

thanks for your interest in the campaign. Banksy is in possession of the print and has disallowed the image's use for merchandising. There are no plans of him selling it.

agree. I certainly think he'd have had final approval over all the vids.
Probably supplied a treatment / artwork to an animation company and then signed it off when happy with it.

I just hope that this time next year we're not still talking about when this might all end. It's a salient thought for us all that this is all happening in the oldest inhabited cities on earth.
