Have to say, i do feel a bit sorry for the guy, he's done a lot good work for charities and he obviously set out with good intentions here, faile, invader, shep all felt he was worth working with for a good cause and had faith in him. Maybe man pride got in the way when things were'nt going exactly to plan and he tried to adjust to fix it and the stone started rolling. I hope it works out, he isnt charles manson afterall

His mistake was keeping up the buy now button for more than an hour. had he pulled the plug in 10 minutes, no one would suspect.

Taken from his Inst.  'introduced to him last week'.  I suppose that could mean that they 'only' talked on the phone after being introduced by someone else giving a tel number ... my bad and I take it back.

but he does say that they talked back and forth and emailed eachother; and on prev Inst messages he did say that he thought it was all go as 'banksy' had even posted it on his fb page.

anyway as other people have said  ... I don't think any of this is malicious, I think he got caught up in a storm (of his own making) and just happened to have a big shovel with him where he started digging a bigger and bigger hole and does not know when to stop, eg 'a famous artist>the homeless artist>you guys design it for me>what next?!?!

His business and giving of % profit to charity does not sit well with me, but that is just my opinion and not just BNE all those sorts of business'; I would rather give direct to a charity, but I have commented on that before.

In terms of your question, I'm sure BNE doesn't know what the status is not because of any lack of wanting to donate but with this shit storm the charity have to make sure the funds were collected on the up and up. 

I'm pretty sure he isn't getting rich off this mess. 

Ask a polite question about whether the proceeds are still going to charity and get delete & blocked. Yeah, doesn't sound like someone trying to conceal something. How does that kool aid taste?
