Knowing im interested in graffiti prints I was recently given a black invite for the Banksy flower cellars exhibition in London last year, black with a silver flower thrower on one side and the exhibition details on the other, in one corner is the POW embossed stamp.
My question is .....What does the POW stamp actually authenticate ? it it worth keeping ?

Was this show not put on by Sincura? Seems strange that the invite would have an embossed POW stamp?

This wasn't an official Banksy show but rather one cobbled together by secondary market dealers, primarily with a view to trying to auction off the so-called Slave Labour street piece.
The invitation should not have a Pictures On Walls embossed stamp. Either the blindstamp used was a counterfeit, or the invite holder somehow got the card stamped at POW. The latter scenario seems unlikely.
Whether the invite is worth keeping is up to you. The exhibition was controversial given the auction. And the lack of its direct connection to Banksy / POW / Pest Control arguably makes the invite more of a curiosity piece than a proper Banksy collectible.
