I usually found artist statement boring and pompous ! Funny to see that players in the arty world are still very much attached to artist statement...

My work explores the relationship between postmodern discourse and recycling culture.
With influences as diverse as Rousseau and Roy Lichtenstein, new insights are synthesised from both mundane and transcendant narratives.
Ever since I was a child I have been fascinated by the traditional understanding of relationships. What starts out as yearning soon becomes manipulated into a tragedy of power, leaving only a sense of chaos and the unlikelihood of a new order.
As temporal replicas become frozen through diligent and personal practice, the viewer is left with a testament to the possibilities of our culture.
