Ladies and gents, don't get caught out on the hype trail. I already see this is happening. I would be very careful shelling out high end money for anything newish on the urban art scene in the hope of making a good investment. It seems that people are being caught up in the graffiti prints releases. I truly belive many will be stung this way. I would love a ZACH, but I truly would not pay over £6-700 for a hand finished - the guy is just starting out.............. seems to be that Martin Whatson, Zach , Dot Dot Dot are the flips of the times, however not that great flips as it is! Doesn't seem to much profit after a week or so, in fact many selling at cost. I cannot believe the pric of the hand finished en pointe on ebay!

Denada, I was thinking exactly the same thing and nearly put that in my post. For everyone on this forum that has been on here a long time - how many of you were caught out with Nick Walker? I remember his prices were mental, nearly at Banksy prices, probably second on the list of most sought after Urban Artists back in the days. I remember getting emails from Black Rat Press offering me a vandal canvas for £5-6k, but not to tell anyone, this is a great opportunity etc etc. I bet that canvas wouldn't shift for 1k today. I know many Walker fans who bought canvasses for 7-10k that are well out of pocket. What I am i saying is that things stabilise. By the way, I am actually a big fan of Nick Walker and I actually think he has a good standing and will last in the scene a long time, and that his prices will rise. Luckily i sold all my silly investments at the right time, i kept what i like which is a couple of prints!

OK, breaks my heart to do this but the Wall isnt flat enough to hang it and Ive run out of nails so there we are... I recently bought this from a trusted forum member on this forum, hes a member on here, I paid 5k and really im only looking to sell on at cost plus a few grand, his work is now being sought after by top Galleries I hear, dont miss the boat like what I nearly did.

hahaha that made me chuckle.  Why anyone would spend more than a couple hundred quid to put this in their dorm room i have no idea but hey, that's art.

1. If your selling your item on ebay, then sell it on ebay, please don't post and start threads just to tell people about it.

2. If your Selling more than one item please use only ONE thread, not one for each item. Threads may get merged where its felt appropriate to do so.

3. Don't bump your thread. If you must post, add extra info, photos, and answer peoples questions.

4. Make clear and simple titles to your thread. For Sale, Swap, Want, followed by Artist or Artists names, Plus item name if you have room.

5. Try to post as much info about the item as you can, including Price, Photos, Size, Edition size, Condition.

6. Remember all Sales/Trades/Swaps are carried out at your own risk. Try to do all deals face to face if you can to avoid any problems.
