Expensive and looks unfinished, don't really know why the kid is stretching his face or why. I'd be interested at half the price or if he they looked liked they took more than 5 mins of his attention.
Could've been cool on something like the Mondrian piece where the squiggle-spray was only a small part of the piece, but when it's the majority like it is here it makes the piece look lazy and falls flat.
And the thing with the feet is just a compositional fail, plain and simple. I like Zach and he clearly has talent; hopefully bounces back. May be getting coddled too much.

I'm not surprised I considered buying one but just didn't like the image enough. I would think in a few years these will probably be a good investment and I'll look back and say I should of bought one. If you think about it these are double the price of style wars and about half the edition size of the hand finished ones so possibly not to outrageous for a hand finished print.

But, it's not art by committee, and the artist gets to fulfil his or her artistic vision.

Yes, that's the most terrifying moment one can imagine. But such a technique has the potential to turn the final product into a hit or miss, which may explain a few of these works on wood didn't come out as well executed. Maybe give him a few more months to perfect it.
