Removing damage caused to canvas by household damp, by Wearology on Apr 4, 2014 3:52:39 GMT 1, There are antimicrobial products that medical professionals use in medical settings. There
is one antimicrobial called Microban that probably comes in a spray that will kill that mold.

Removing damage caused to canvas by household damp, by Deleted on Apr 4, 2014 15:59:12 GMT 1, You could kill the mould first , because if the canvas gets damp again the mould will start up again.
Then use miltons sterilising fluid like restorers do on drawings and watercolours made on paper to get rid of foxing etc.
Failing that contact an art restorer and pick their brains or pay them.
