I'll kick off with 'Ghost Stories' . Took my daughter to see this at The Arts Theatre in Leicester Square last night and really enjoyed. Elements of classic ghost stories, movies and Artaud's Theatre of Cruelty. Clever, different, immersive, short and highly recommended.

Theatre Recommendations, by Trevorm on Apr 10, 2014 13:03:19 GMT 1, We did Jeeves and Wooster in the West End about a fortnight ago, before the cast changeover this week. Has to be the funniest thing that I've ever seen. Classy production with just 3 performers - absolutely brilliant.
Saw the Jersey Boys at the Piccadilly, Tuesday matinee with all the other old farts smelling of cabbage and wee. Easy to watch, musical history/story of The Four Seasons and Frankie Valli. Probably appeal to the (well) over 40's

Theatre Recommendations, by eschiff on Apr 10, 2014 15:04:33 GMT 1, Is Ghost Stories the same as Ghosts? I saw this one...excellent but not a lot of humour! www.almeida.co.uk/event/ghosts
Of course, as much press as it's gotten, Book of Mormon is still one of the best theatrical performances I've ever seen. It's fantastic.

Theatre Recommendations, by Hubble Bubble on Apr 10, 2014 16:35:31 GMT 1, Eschiff… I suspect 'Ghosts' was Ibsen? (If I remember from my University degree course in the dim and distant past). 'Ghost Stories' is much more current, written by Andy Nyman and Jeremy Dyson (League of Gentlemen)…

Theatre Recommendations, by doyle on May 23, 2014 19:33:27 GMT 1, Has anyone seen the play by James Graham called 'Privacy' at the Donmar Warehouse? I've been off the radar in terms of keeping up with things and i missed this and it's completely sold out! Just wondering if by some random chance anyone here has a ticket who is now not going/wants to sell or knows anyone with a spare?
