I've been waiting for years to finally hear this, it's certainly an interesting idea using Kickstarter to fund it all
It was always the holy grail of the Rephlex catalogue along with Analogue Bubblebbath V (which i own a copy of) so this finally 'coming out' for want of a better word is great news as i've heard it's some of the best stuff he ever did. Funny thats it's now 20 years old too but will be greeted feverishly in the same manner a new present day release would be

(though I think his Caustic Window stuff generally hasn't stood the test of time very well...)
You have Analogue Bubblebath 5 on vinyl? Were you one of the people whose Analord binder was delayed?

Yeah i got sent 2 binders for some reason, 1 arrived 6 months after the first with a nondescript white label record nesteled in between the plastic sleeves. Was like winning the lottery when i realised what it was..

Have you heard it yet Prescription Art ? I'd go as far as saying in terms of consistency all the way through it's one of my favourite releases he's ever done, 101 Rainbows is incredible and the breakdown in Mumbly is classic mid 90's James, so lush

I actually didn't give it all my attention first time round expecting it to be a bit rubbish... but I was pleasantly surprised! I think I need to hear it through some decent speakers though.

Caustic Window LP [CAT 023] aka the rare as hens AFX album, by Schrödinger's Chat on Jun 19, 2014 16:57:48 GMT 1, Got my copy the other day - first listen through I'd have to say it's very much of a time 92-95, and 2 or 3 of the tracks sound quite unlike other Aphex stuff e.g. Jazzphase, Squidge in the Fridge and Flutey. Generally it is unmistakeable Richard James and makes for good listening but TBO it isn't life changing and probably not going to be on heavy rotation at my house. Sadly this is typical of most of my Warp and Rephlex collection nowerdays - considering the time and money I spent building a vast collection it's a bit gutting to think it's gathering dust, but I guess life moves on and your tastes develop.
It was great to finally hear it and to have a copy. Just like everyone on this thread I had to hear it having spent years in record shops and fairs collecting much of his early releases on vinyl (UI Green, Bradleys Beats, Bradleys Robot, GAK, Curve (Remix), Gentle People (Remix) etc etc.) and having followed his work since Polygon Window (first time around), Classics and Pacman (would still love the Picture Disc of this one).
Does anyone have a feel for what old aphex and warp stuff is worth nowerdays, used to fetch great money on ebay etc long before MP3s were quite so readily available?

Look on discogs. Most of that stuff is still pretty valuable.. particularly if it's in good condition and not been repressed.
You don't have a copy of 'The Other People Place' album by Drexciya on vinyl do you? I've been trying to find one for years! I'm also missing Universal Indicator Red & Blue... ,-)

I booked Mike Dred as Universal Indicator for the first party i ever put on in 2006. Was amazing, he also kindly signed my copies of Yellow & Blue UI records and the Ultra Violet one which many forget about. Richard did Red & Green although i think Grant might've done the 2 tracks on the 7" Green under IG-88
