Art Republic are now flipping Vandal prints for £650. Ain't that a kick in the teeth for anyone who missed out?

Each to their own obviously, but I think "Vandal" is probably his strongest image since "Toy" and certainly grew on me since I first saw it.

I know he's done the child with bandana thing before, but nobody can argue with the popularity of Teddy and Kitty Riot and I imagine "Vandal" also felt more personal to him with the Norwegian flag.

I agree, recent images have not been as strong as we expect from Mr D, but this one is much better. Kitty Riot and Teddy Riot although very similar to this, its easy to see why with the addition of the Norwegian flag colours its got his home fans clambering to get there hands on it. Prices for the aforementioned prints have only gone one way, and I suspect in time this will do the same.

Wonder what he will bring us next?

Bought the Vandal from Artrepublic - thanks for the tip posterbob, happy with the purchase and excellent customer service (chat-function). Considered Idea Painter, but was sold out before I made up my mind...

I regret not picking up a few things from art republic even if they double the price.
it depends on the print. Dolk surprises me. You could not sell a crown for £375 last year, now they are hitting £750 if you can find them and all the other prints are going up. Hangup seem to put theres up £25 a week.

not sure on idea painter, but the vandal is popular because of kitty riot.

it would be comparable to banksy doing a print with a british bandana here to dolk doing it with a norwegian flag there. It will be quite an iconic image even if some people disagree. Most people disagree with popular things on here and then they go through the roof and they end up wanting one in 5 months.

Well its wrong because i sold mine for £375 on ebay best offer a few weeks after release to get an original by my dog sighs.
