Back in 2011, RETNA had a release through Modern Multiples. Prints that were released for $800 were all of the sudden 'sold out' and being sold direct through RETNA for $2500. RETNA's 'manager' who (at the time) dealt with all his commission work and direct prints ALSO worked for Modern Multiples.
So now MM is sold out of the $800 prints, but they are still available for $2500 thru RETNA's manager, who worked at MM when they were released. This absolutely reeked.
So nothing new... just how the game is played I suppose - and why they may have decided to just pop the price on the latest release to cut out the middle man's middle man.
