Have a moan about your footie team or sing their prasies., by Deleted on May 12, 2014 18:40:03 GMT 1, AFC Wimbledon. Just happy we exist to be honest, quite happily watch them in league 2 and possibly league 1. Wont ever go higher as we don't want outside investment. Hopefully moving to the dog track site just down the road from where Plough Lane (God rest its soul) used to be.

Is there not dog racing there anymore. Used to enjoy going to the dog track in Wimbledon.

Still there along with the banger racing for now but I know Merton council want to change it. 2 rival bids at the moment, one is afc wimbledon to turn it into a football stadium and community leisure cente. The other is an Irish gent who wants to redevelop the track into 'the Ascot of dog racing.' Pretty sure the council are in favour of Afc coming home but nothing official has been decided.

Have a moan about your footie team or sing their prasies., by Stoko on May 12, 2014 20:08:52 GMT 1, As a Sunderland fan we've had the most mental season ever. Cup final, battered the Mags in their gaff, sacked one mentalist, hired another one, FA cup quarter final, gave up all hope three weeks ago and, until yesterday, was convinced we'd win the bloody league if they stretched the season out a few more weeks.
After 5 years of mid table obscurity it felt nice to be doing what Sunderland do best - getting, or closely avoiding, relegated.

Looking forward to a long weekend in London when we"ll be going to Wembley for the final and following on with taking the kids to the Arctic Monkeys at Finsbury park.
Hoping for an exceptional weekend.

Used to enjoy going to the dog track in Wimbledon. I used to go up for the Greyhound Derby from Bristol. Great day out. Always lively. There was nearly a full blown riot one night at the end of the night. They were betting on the photo finish of the last race and it was taking ages. When they called the winner there was uproar as everyone but me had backed the 2nd placed dog. I of course had the winner. Glad I don't gamble any more, but I do miss the occasional dog meeting.
