Er a timed release of 1000s makes a normal release worth more (if that is the issue), shame people were too busy kicking up a fuss to realise that.

So all in all a very shortsighted approach. Also, what type of oddballs go off writing complaint letters to artists (which is what probably happened) about how they run their business?

The 2 of the 3 that didn't sell were the 2 pigeon pieces that were made to bookend either side of the Ascent image and form a sort of triptych. They were not really necessary to the central image and do not stand well on their own in my opinion. Personally, I didn't care for them at all and I am a big Geddes fan. Obviously other big Geddes fans felt the same way. I am not at all surprised that they didn't sell.

the prints were being shipped on malaysia airline flight 370
a little disappointed on the change of decision as hypostasis was probably my favorite image of the cosmonauts ... and on the fact that a timed release would have been a no-brainer pickup of. i just really hope he made the decision w/out the outside influence of the art forum pansies (myself included  ). do we have any evidence or knowledge that is what happened (ie red cosmo owners contacting them or something)? or is this all just speculative?
who knows ... the next release may be even better. time will tell.
